DVCarRig   

Combine a car rig with a low-level tripod, and what have you got? DVCarRig, the most heavy duty lightweight car rig you’ve ever seen!

DVCarRig is versatile--it can carry any mini DV or HD camera in any position, and support full-size camcorders in the upright hood and door positions. It can be used with most flat base camera heads or with the optional heavy-duty ball head. The DVCarRig can be easily mounted on a vehicle’s hood, roof or side door with the side window open or closed.

DVCarRig is compact — It goes easily anywhere, disassembles to a small size bag,  and needs no tools for  set-up.

DvCarRig is complete — The DvCarRig is supplied with a harness of safety straps, hooks and a set of vacuum feet that will not damage your vehicle’s paint. DVTec DvCar Rig is for you!

If anything bests the DVCarRig, it's the DVCarRig Extension added to it. The DVCarRig Extension gives you adjustability on an entire new plane. It lets you get super low, almost to ground level, but also lets you extend focal length of the camera in any upright position.

Made of the same extruded aluminum that makes DVTec products so rugged yet light, DVCarRig Extension is for use with any 3 x 3/8" mounting points and is ideal for all DV and HD cameras.

DvTec pairs a standard Sony/Panasonic Quick Release (QR) plate with 15mm screw in bars. This allows DVEngRig Plate/Bars to be used as support for any Matte box or follow focus system.

And remember, P+S Technik themselves use this basic system, with the addition of the DVTec gimbal to extend the versatility of their P+S Mini35 Image Converter. (See EngRigSupport for reference.)

DVTec's Velcro support belt, when paired with the DVTec holster, is the ideal anchor for DVTec spring-loaded support rods. The belt fits up to a 47" waist comfortably, and the holster can be positioned anywhere along the Velcro band. Ultra lightweight, it is used with every DVRigPro, DVMultiRig, EngRig, and EngRig Support.
