Combined Companies to Maximize 35mm Crash Camera Distribution
Hollywood, Calif. --- December 30, 2006 --- It was jointly announced today by Wayne Loucks and Mike Ferra that the FerraFlex film rental
company has joined forces with Alan Gordon Enterprises.
All FerraFlex 35mm camera rentals are now being operated by Alan
Gordon’s skilled rental and engineering specialists, and Mike Ferra is available for consultations on special projects. “We’ve seen
the results of our synergy already”, declared general manager Wayne Loucks. “Our web position for 35mm crash cameras zoomed to #1
on Google within ten days, and we just sent the underwater camera kit to ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’”

The FerraFlex company, begun by Mike Ferra, member SOC, has been a supplier of specially mounted 35mm Eyemo motion picture cameras to the film and television industry for more than 30 years. Crash cameras with housings, low-slung walking cams, body mounts and underwater housings are some of the most popular systems offered for day, week or long-term rental.
Alan Gordon Enterprises began 60 years ago by providing the two most famous motion picture cameras to the movie industry: Mitchell and Bell & Howell. The company evolved to develop the Image 300 high-speed effects camera and the highly regarded Mark Vb Director’s Viewfinder for the motion picture and television industries; both products earned Academy Award recognition. |

The 35mm Eyemos (re-engineered with reflex viewing, video taps and crystal control) will continue to play a big role in most of the FerraFlex rigs. Plans are also under way to incorporate HD video cameras on the body mount rigs.
