SONY HVR-V1U
The Sony HVR-V1U camcorder is a whopper of an HD camcorder, providing affordable HD acquisition by offering true 1080p image capture in a small camcorder form factor at a previously unattainable price. Three ClearVid® 1/4" CMOS Sensors, combined with Sony's 14-bit Enhanced Image Processor, equal or outperform every other HDV camcorder! All video is processed at 1920 x 1080 at 60p, in full 4:2:2, for optimum picture quality. In the 1080 24p mode, the images are scanned at the full 1080 lines, and 2:3 pull down is added and recorded to the 60i HDV tape.
From SD to HD, and 24p to 30p, you get true progressive images with a 1920 x 1080 resolution at the imager. Partner Sony's HVR-V1U and HVR-DR60, and you get an extremely versatile, high-quality production package for video professionals.
