Like its older brother, it is designed and manufactured in the USA from the same aircraft-grade aluminum and poly materials. The tray is also available without glass so you can purchase your own polarizer or special effects filters from leading manufacturers.

Astro WM-3001 Waveform Monitor
The WM-3001 is an HDTV waveform monitor which is compact, lightweight and portable, designed to monitor the pictures being shot during live broadcasts, on location or in the studio. The monitor can also be powered by the camera battery pack, so pictures can be viewed absolutely anywhere. The monitor comes with a number of modes: the picture mode in which the input video is displayed in color, the waveform mode which displays it as waveforms, the vectorscope mode that displays it as vectors, and the status mode in which the data is dumped. A low-temperature polysilicon thin-film transistor (TFT) LCD panel is used for the monitor’s display. The input signals support 20 different video formats in all, including 19 HDTV formats and one SDTV format. HDTV SDI and SDTV SDI digital signals and HDTV analog signals can easily be selected. An HDTV SDI signal refers to a 1.485 Gbps NRZ serial digital signal, while an SDTV SDI signal refers to a 270 Mbps NRZ serial digital signal. The formats supported for HDTV are 1080/60i, 1035/60i, 720/60p, 720/24p, 1080/24p, 1080/24sF, 1080/30p, 1080/30sF, 1080/25p, 1080/25sF and 1080/50i. For SDTV, the WM-3001 supports the 525/60i format with frequency rates of 1.000 and 1/1.001. The field frequencies (60/59.94 Hz, 24/23.98 Hz, etc.) of each format are automatically supported.

Leader LV5750 Multi SDI Waveform Monitor w/ Top Handle
The Leader LV5750 is a new paradigm in portable digital testing. This multiformat HD-SDI and SD-SDI monitor features a color XGA (1024 x 768) LCD screen waveform monitor for signals. SDI inputs support auto detection of twenty standard formats. Selected SDI input signals are reclocked and output to an active serial output. Complete digital processing of SDI signals enables highly accurate measurements. Test modes include waveform, vector, picture, audio, and status displays with time code. Displays and sub-displays can be viewed in various combinations side by side or as a four in one multi-display. A composite signal conversion converts SDI component signals into pseudo-composite waveform or vector for NTSC or PAL.
Vector shows chrominance difference signals in vector format with the amplitude settable as variable, IQ-MAG, or x5 times. Line selection with strobe of the same line can be displayed in picture, waveform, vector and data dump with values in hex or binary notation eases analysis. Complete protocol test and analysis functions are provided. Variable vector gain includes onscreen readout for optimizing digital camera CCU set up with Chroma Du Monde chip charts.
